Apple recorded 37 million iPhone sales in Q1, 2012

Apple has officially announced that it sold 37 million iPhones in the first month of this year. Apple iPhone 4 and the 3GS made company possible to reach such a highest iPhone sales figure so far.

When compared to last year’s figures iPhone sales have been raised by 128 percent, which is an astonishing figure to look at. In last year they only managed to sell just 17 million iPhones.

“We’re thrilled with this outstanding result and record breaking sales of iPhone, iPads and Macs”, said Tim Cook, Apple CEO. They further added “Apple’s momentum is improbably strong and we have some amazing new products in the lineup.”
